NAVITEL® releases the Q1 2019 update for the maps of the Middle East, South Caucasus and Asia
Updated Q1 2019 maps for 11 countries of the Middle East, South Caucasus and Asia are now available to the Navitel Navigator users.
Due to the extensive work of the department of cartography and geodesics office as well as meticulous analysis of the messages from Navitel Navigator users, NAVITEL® releases a Q1 2019 map update. The Middle East, South Caucasus and Asia Q1 2019 map update includes 11 countries — Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.
Azerbaijan
The map of Azerbaijan contains 4 313 cities and settlements, of which 57 are available for road network and address search. The POI database was updated and extended to 27 591 POIs. Total length of the road graph is 35 356 km.
The latest map of Azerbaijan includes new part of M3 highway with junctions.
Vietnam
The map of Vietnam contains 89 852 cities and settlements, of which 765 are available for road network and address search. The POI database was updated and extended to 228 605 POIs. Total length of the road graph is 396 099 km. The address search includes 1 286 068 unique addresses.
The road network of Vietnam was revised and the address database was updated.
Georgia
The map of Georgia contains 4 367 cities and settlements, of which 53 are available for road network and address search. The latest Q1 2019 map release of Georgia includes 5 142 POIs (gas stations, ATMs, cafes, shopping centres and tourist sites). Total length of the road graph is 81 849 km.
Road network of Georgia has been updated. The address database has been updated in the following cities: Gudauta, Kheivani, Leselidze, New Athos, Pitsunda, Sukhumi, Tsandryphsh. New POIs of hotels and and tourist sites have been added to the map of Georgia.
Tajikistan
The map of Tajikistan contains 1 583 cities and settlements, of which 3 are available for road networks and address search. The POI database was updated and extended to 1 922 POIs. The road graph of the country has been updated. Total length of the road graph is 14 631 km. The address search includes 1 799 unique addresses.
Main road highways and junctions have been updated on the territory of Tajikistan.
Uzbekistan
The map of Uzbekistan contains 8 115 cities and settlements, of which 5 are available for road networks and address search. The POI database was updated and extended to 2 243 POIs. The road graph of the country has been updated. Total length of the road graph is 63 161 km. The address search includes 103 726 unique addresses.
Main road highways and junctions have been updated on the territory of Uzbekistan.
Each map includes residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and settlements with address search and detailed road network with traffic direction, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant navigation information.
